Church

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely live inside a Brooklyn cathedral, 'Church' serves as the breakout debut for the classically trained cellist and vocalist. The project strips away complex studio production to focus exclusively on the raw, resonant acoustics of its recording environment, anchoring layered string loops to deeply personal, soaring vocal performances. This minimalist execution effectively introduced a distinctive fusion of avant-garde folk and chamber pop to a much wider critical audience.
