Biography
American cellist, singer and composer from Charlotte, North Carolina. Kelsey Lu trained classically on cello, piano and violin, left home at eighteen and built a singular style from looped cello, voice and electronics. The live-recorded EP 'Church' (2016) introduced them, and the debut album 'Blood' (2019), released on #Columbia Records#, widened the palette into avant-pop and R&B. Lu is also a sought-after collaborator, having worked with *Blood Orange*, *Solange* and *Florence + The Machine*.
