Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Teen X' acts as a highly influential, foundational document for the hyperactive, synthesizer-heavy rage aesthetic that defined 2020s underground rap. The remarkably brief project relies heavily on repetitive, boastful lyricism detailing extreme drug-fueled hedonism over surreal, brightly colored beats. It firmly positioned the young rapper as the premier rising star within Playboi Carti's avant-garde Opium imprint.
