Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Nashville over several sessions, 'Speed, Sound, Lonely KV' is a warm and highly comforting country-folk and alt-country EP from Kurt Vile. The record is spearheaded by a poignant, bittersweet duet cover of John Prine's 'How Lucky', recorded alongside the legendary songwriter himself shortly before his passing. The spacious, mellow compositions pair lush pedal steel and acoustic guitars with his signature, unhurried and soothing vocal delivery.
