Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by an endlessly propulsive rhythm section and frantic, yelping vocals, this release stands as a monumental pillar of the post-punk era. The legendary track 'Cavern' features a deeply groovy bassline that was infamously repurposed by Grandmaster Melle Mel for the hip-hop classic 'White Lines (Don't Don't Do It)'. It captures the raw, percussive energy of the downtown New York club scene at its creative zenith.
