Album Notes & Community Reviews

The minimalist Duluth trio famously reinvents the holiday album by applying their lethargic, achingly beautiful slowcore aesthetic to seasonal standards and original compositions. The original track 'Just Like Christmas' provides a surprisingly upbeat, jangle-pop outlier that has since become an alternative radio staple. It successfully rescues seasonal music from overt commercialism, returning it to a quiet, reverent winter atmosphere.
