Compassion

An early release from the Manchester quartet, 'Compassion' showcases the band's roots in jazz-rock, funk, and psychedelic exploration. The album is a largely instrumental affair, driven by groovy basslines, tight drumming, and the prominent saxophone work of frontman Harry Wilkinson. This record captures the formative, more funk-inflected stage of their sound before they evolved towards a darker, post-punk and noise rock direction.
