Compiling outtakes primarily from the recording sessions of 'Once More 'Round the Sun', this moody release leans heavily into the Atlanta quartet's sprawling, progressive rock tendencies. The tracks largely abandon aggressive sludge metal in favor of intricate acoustic passages, sorrowful vocal harmonies, and deeply atmospheric, southern-gothic storytelling. It provides a beautiful, introspective showcase of guitarist Brent Hinds' emotive songwriting and vocal abilities.
