Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Suga' was released amidst a highly publicized legal dispute with the artist's label, yet still managed to deliver undeniably powerful, boastful rap anthems. The project balances her signature sexually explicit, aggressive trap flows with smoother, contemporary R&B-infused melodic cuts. It spawned a colossal viral dance hit that dominated early pandemic-era pop culture.
