Album Notes & Community Reviews

Colloquially known by fans as the 'Nuns Have No Fun' EP, this foundational debut radically altered the trajectory of early European extreme metal. King Diamond's theatrical, piercing falsetto vocals perfectly complemented the band's unashamedly satanic lyricism and complex, progressive guitar harmonies. It served as a critical stylistic bridge between the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and the developing first-wave black metal movement.
