Album Notes & Community Reviews
Showcasing the trio's rapidly expanding musical ambitions, this collection heavily incorporates funk-driven basslines and jarring tempo changes. The production notably adds unconventional instrumentation, including trumpet and cheap synthesizers, expanding their typically austere punk toolkit. It paved the direct creative pathway toward their magnum opus, 'Double Nickels on the Dime'.
