Album Notes & Community Reviews

Phil Elverum assembled a powerful backing band, including K Records stalwarts, to significantly beef up his typically sparse acoustic sound. The EP remarkably integrates heavily distorted, down-tuned sludge guitars and black metal-inspired fuzz into his deeply poetic, lo-fi Pacific Northwest folk.
