Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bridging the transition from The Microphones to his newly adopted moniker, Phil Elverum presented 'Seven New Songs of "Mount Eerie"' as a stark, acoustic meditation on nature and impermanence. Recorded with intentionally primitive techniques, the release strips away the grandiosity of his previous conceptual epics to reveal raw, deeply vulnerable songwriting.
