Bowi

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Famously titled as a cheeky, direct response to David Bowie's 'Low' album, this Stiff Records offering demonstrated the veteran pub-rocker's seamless pivot into sharp, modern songcraft. The breezy pop melodies and rapid-fire structural hooks heavily informed and helped define the burgeoning parameters of the British new wave movement.
