Album Notes & Community Reviews

A 2000 EP by the Chicago house producer Paul Johnson, whose 'Get Get Down' had topped dance charts the year before. 'Simple Beats With Sweet Samples' states its method in its title: jacking Chicago rhythms under reconfigured disco samples, the approach that made Johnson a cited influence on the French house generation.
