Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, this final studio offering from the legendary Bay Area ensemble boasts surprisingly clean production values and heightened technical proficiency. While shedding some of the infernal murk of their foundational death metal output, Larry LaLonde's intricate riffing and the complex rhythmic structures significantly influenced the developing progressive thrash movement.
