Produced heavily in collaboration with dark-electronic composer The Haxan Cloak, Josiah Wise's striking debut successfully marries classical gospel vocal training with terrifyingly tense industrial atmospheres. The project beautifully navigates themes of queer romance and religious devotion, utilizing dramatic orchestral arrangements and his staggering, acrobatic vibrato.
