Trees Open Doors

This collaborative project unites two prominent figures of the New York scene for a project rooted in traditional boom-bap aesthetics and mafioso-style narratives. The production features dusty soul samples and a sophisticated, relaxed flow that reflects the artists' veteran status. It conceptually addresses the enduring cultural and economic hierarchies of the urban landscape through a classic East Coast production lens.
