Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as their final release for the legendary Sub Pop label before their major-label transition, this brief outing notably showcases the Seattle quartet's surprisingly adept handling of heavy funk grooves. Highlighted by an uncharacteristically buoyant, metallic cover of the Ohio Players' classic title track, it offers a fascinating, groove-oriented counterpoint to their typical sludge-metal gloom.
