Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following their explorations of nocturnal highways and sweltering deserts, 'Winter Was Hard' plunges the trio's ambient Americana into a freezing, barren tundra. The compositions rely on sparse piano passages and icy, minimalist electronic loops to evoke a sense of deep isolation and survival. The EP represents a stark aesthetic departure, showing the band's versatility in portraying diverse environmental themes.
