Originally released strictly as a German-only tour exclusive, this project is widely considered the crucial conceptual companion to their towering magnum opus, 'Soundtracks for the Blind'. It features early, partially German-translated vocal versions of tracks that would later populate that album, mixed with sprawling live drone improvisations. The overwhelming, apocalyptic soundscapes perfectly capture the band at the absolute zenith of their first incarnation.
