Toothsayer

Commissioned to accompany an exhibition at the National Maritime Museum in London regarding the Franklin expedition, the acclaimed Inuk throat singer delivered a harrowing, icy soundscape. The project expertly utilizes deep sub-bass and freezing ambient drones to mirror the bleak, unforgiving landscape of the Arctic alongside her primal, physically demanding vocalizations.
