Album Notes & Community Reviews
A melancholic, acoustic ballad composed entirely by Paul McCartney and famously recorded without the other band members. Its elegant string quartet arrangement marked a radical departure for the group, fundamentally expanding the acceptable stylistic boundaries of contemporary rock music.
