Album Notes & Community Reviews

Packaged specifically for regional markets shortly after Jim Morrison's death, this concise compilation focuses on the Los Angeles quartet's brooding, psychedelic blues roots. Ray Manzarek's hypnotic organ lines and the heavy, acid-soaked atmospheres successfully translated intense poetic darkness into massive commercial success.
