Album Notes & Community Reviews

Surprise-released following his pivotal collaborative work on Kendrick Lamar's 'To Pimp a Butterfly', this deeply reflective project wrestles with sudden grief and spiritual transition. The bass virtuoso relies on heavily filtered, swirling falsetto vocals over dazzling jazz-funk arrangements. It features the standout melancholic hit 'Them Changes', driven by an iconic Isley Brothers drum sample and a crushing, fuzz-laden bassline.
