Initially sold directly out of their tour van, this self-released tape introduces the abrasive, labyrinthine post-punk of the Calgary quartet. Born from the ashes of the defunct band Women, the tracks rely on heavily delayed guitars, booming analog drums, and an underlying sense of mechanical paranoia. The release successfully garnered massive independent hype prior to their critically acclaimed, self-titled studio album.
