Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Hot Sun Cool Shroud' offers a deeply sentimental, highly melodic collection of tracks originally assembled for the band's curated Solid Sound Festival. The brief project beautifully balances their signature, warm alt-country songwriting with remarkably dense, surprisingly noisy psychedelic rock excursions. It served as a highly acclaimed, bittersweet summer treat perfectly highlighting the veteran ensemble's continuing, effortless creative chemistry.
