Album Notes & Community Reviews

An underground staple of the early 90s UK rave scene, this release from the jungle producer (unrelated to the famed pop-rock band) helped pioneer the ominous, heavily sampled aesthetic of darkside jungle. The tracks utilize complex, chopped Amen breaks overlaid with eerie cinematic samples and menacing bass tones. It remains a highly sought-after relic of the transitional era between breakbeat hardcore and atmospheric drum and bass.
