Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as their debut extended play, 'Dark Days' introduces Yard Act's brand of sarcastic, socially observant post-punk to a wider audience. Frontman James Smith utilizes a deadpan spoken-word delivery and sharp wit over angular, dance-punk instrumentation to critique contemporary British life. The four-track collection firmly established the Leeds quartet as a vital, humorous new voice in the UK post-punk revival.
