Album Notes & Community Reviews

Exploding out of the legendary early 2000s New York independent scene, this blistering debut introduced Karen O's wildly charismatic, unhinged vocal presence. Nick Zinner's incredibly sharp, bluesy guitar feedback perfectly anchors the danceable, garage-punk rhythm section, most notably on the iconic track 'Our Time'. The self-titled release instantly launched a ferocious bidding war, perfectly encapsulating the raw energy of the post-punk revival.
