Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written primarily on a Mellotron before the band's official formation, Steven Tyler's towering power ballad slowly gathered commercial momentum to become a definitive stadium rock staple. The soaring, screaming vocal climax and dramatic mellotron arrangements contrasted sharply with the Boston quintet's typical, swaggering blues-rock output.
