Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drawn from 'The Art of Drowning', 'The Days of the Phoenix' is AFI's melodic hardcore single, built on Davey Havok's literate, horror-tinged lyricism and gang-vocal choruses. It marked the point where the East Bay band's punk attack absorbed gothic and alternative rock textures.
