Album Notes & Community Reviews
A transcendent, swirling synthesis of avant-garde noise and pristine Beach Boys-style vocal harmonies that defined the late-2000s blog-house era. Built on cascading, arpeggiated synthesizer loops and heavy sub-bass, Panda Bear's lyrics express a deeply earnest, anti-materialist desire to simply provide a peaceful home for his wife and daughter. It became the defining anthem of the critically universally acclaimed 'Merriweather Post Pavilion'.
