Intervention

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by a colossal, majestic pipe organ recorded at a church outside Montreal, 'Intervention' serves as a blistering critique of religious hypocrisy and military interventionism. The track's sprawling, orchestral rock arrangement perfectly encapsulates the overwhelming sense of dread and paranoia pervading the 'Neon Bible' era. Its impassioned lyrical delivery elevated the band's status as purveyors of intensely earnest, stadium-sized indie rock.
