Album Notes & Community Reviews
Captures the frantic, desperate energy of the 1998 North American ice storm blackout through driving post-punk rhythms and a relentless glockenspiel motif. The song's cathartic climax and themes of political disillusionment solidified the band's reputation for intensely passionate, theatrical rock performances. It became a frenetic centerpiece of their widely celebrated live shows.
