Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as Lavigne's introduction to the world, 'Complicated' offered a gritty, guitar-driven alternative to the heavily choreographed teen pop that dominated the era. The track's massive international success proved the commercial viability of the angst-ridden mall-punk aesthetic.
