Album Notes & Community Reviews
Anchored by an instantly recognizable, heavily distorted bassline and furious turntable scratching, 'Sabotage' bridges the gap between classic hardcore punk and golden-age hip-hop. MCA's strained, aggressive vocal delivery perfectly matches the relentless energy of the live instrumentation recorded at G-Son Studios. The single is equally legendary for its Spike Jonze-directed music video, a brilliant homage to 1970s police procedural television shows.
