Beat Happening's first recordings in seven years, issued in K Records' International Pop Underground series and cut at Dub Narcotic Studio in Olympia with Phil Elverum producing the A-side. 'Angel Gone' pairs Calvin Johnson's baritone with Heather Lewis's drumming in the band's minimal twee-pop idiom, while the B-side 'Zombie Limbo Time' was recorded in 1995.
