Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as the band's debut single via Speedy Wunderground, this complex track immediately marked Black Country, New Road as a central figure in the UK post-punk revival. The song shifts violently between jagged, angular guitar riffs and quiet, anxious spoken-word sections delivered by Isaac Wood. It established their distinct blend of math-rock precision and chaotic, free-jazz energy.
