My Magic Is Strong

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Yung Sherman, this early release is a defining document of the abrasive, highly experimental origins of the Drain Gang collective[cite: 3]. The track's production is incredibly dense and blown-out, mixing heavily distorted synthesizers with elements of witch house and drill music[cite: 3]. Bladee's vocals are aggressively auto-tuned and buried in the mix, establishing the ethereal, fantasy-driven aesthetic he would later refine.
