Bodak Yellow

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Directly interpolating the flow from Kodak Black's 'No Flockin', this menacing, bass-heavy trap anthem propelled the former reality television star to unprecedented global fame. Delivering ruthless, highly quotable bars detailing her transition from stripping to luxury wealth, the song's aggressive charisma made it an inescapable cultural juggernaut. It notably became the first solo number-one single by a female rapper on the Billboard Hot 100 in nearly two decades.
