Album Notes & Community Reviews
Opening with an instantly recognizable, booming synthesized saxophone riff, 'Run Away With Me' became the defining anthem of the critically revered album 'E-MO-TION'. The track eschews cynical trends in favor of euphoric, unabashed 1980s pop maximalism and earnest romantic longing. It helped transition Jepsen from a viral sensation into a deeply respected, cult-favorite pop auteur.
