Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing an extraordinary commercial pivot for a fiercely independent, anarcho-punk collective, this track became one of the most inescapable drinking anthems of the decade. The song utilizes a massive, stomping dance beat overlaid with shouted, communal vocal hooks intended to mimic pub sing-alongs. Despite its glossy pop-rock exterior, the band maintained their radical politics, famously utilizing their sudden mainstream platform to publicly criticize the British government.
