Album Notes & Community Reviews

This 2001 split reissue pairs two classics of New York post-disco: Class Action's 'Weekend' (1983), the Phreek remake sung by Christine Wiltshire, and Dinosaur L's 'Go Bang' (1982), Arthur Russell's mutant disco project. Both tracks originated in producer Bob Blank's Blank Tapes studio orbit and became foundational records for house and garage DJ culture.
