Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking a significant departure from their usual piano-driven balladry, this track introduces Brian Eno's production influence with distorted guitars, marching rhythms, and stark anti-war lyricism. It served as the bold, unconventional lead single for 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends'.
