Album Notes & Community Reviews

A defining anthem of late-sixties American roots rock, famously contrasting an upbeat, highly danceable chord progression with profoundly apocalyptic lyricism. John Fogerty's driving guitar work perfectly captured the widespread cultural anxieties and looming dread of the late-decade zeitgeist.
