Album Notes & Community Reviews
A masterful double A-side that firmly established John Fogerty's mythical Southern Americana aesthetic. The pairing of a driving, optimistic riverboat narrative with a dark, tremolo-soaked Louisiana fever dream defined the band's incredibly successful swamp rock formula.
