Album Notes & Community Reviews
Ingeniously chops and manipulates a funky guitar sample from Edwin Birdsong's 'Cola Bottle Baby' to create a relentlessly driving, robotic groove. The track's heavily vocodered, titular vocal refrain serves as a meticulously rhythmic instrument in its own right. Its cultural impact was exponentially magnified years later when it was prominently sampled by Kanye West.
