From the Kettle Onto the Coil

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as part of the Adult Swim Singles series, this blistering standalone track bridges the gap between the band's breakthrough album and their subsequent metallic evolution. It opens with an incredibly aggressive, traditional black metal blast-beat assault before expanding into a sprawling, majestic post-rock crescendo. The track perfectly demonstrates their polarizing, yet highly acclaimed ability to merge terrifying sonic extremity with genuine shoegaze beauty.
