Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Strangelove' refined Depeche Mode's darker pop persona with a mix of sensual lyrics, electronic rhythm programming, and Anton Corbijn-era visual identity. The single sits between the band's mid-1980s synth-pop accessibility and the heavier atmospheres that followed.
